Thanks for the good questions on the "why" do it. The 3124KS buries the bottles under the couch when on station, so access means breaking down the inside of that end of the TM so one can push in the pull out and get to the bottles. Sometimes we are in Kansas in the winter when we go through the odd bottle of propane rather quickly, so being able to set down a 20# vertical tank that is easily refilled or replaced would be much more convenient. The particular tee I have does also have the high pressure supply fitting to supply the barbie, so my placement of the tee also has to consider access to that port as well. Thanks for the input. Maybe this is a first time thing among TM owners.
