Hope I'm not misleading you....
I have a newer, 2013 TM w/King HDTV antenna like your link shows). Though your antenna switch may be located differently than mine, you do have to switch it on before you can search for channels, or bring in most TV signals (my switch is located where the coax connector & face plate are located - on the side of the frig and has a green indicator light when switched "on" and able to bring in a signal).
