I'm still not sure why you think you need to remove the fridge.
I looked into adding a switch to control 12 volt operation from and exterior switch. It looks like I can access the necessary wires from the back (exterior access panel).
As for adding a radio. I slid mine in from the front. I stubbed some wires for external speakers to just inside the fridge access panel. On the rare occasion I want external speaker, I just pop the fridge panel open.
The only reason I can think of tor pull the fridge out is to repair or replace it.
