Obviously if you are running off the battery there is a power management reason for not running the fan in the head 24/7 that is not a concern when on shore power. We frequently run the fan to help dry off the shower curtain faster. One caveat - the fan on our '05 2619 is somewhat noisy outside the TM so we try to be considerate in its use early, particularly if we are next door to people tent camping.

One other thing - I find that my grey water tank monitor is pessimistic and I still have considerable capacity when it registers as being full. On your next trip when the light indicates "full" try running the shower until the drain water won't go down the drain - you may be pleasantly surprised to find that you have more capacity than indicated. - camp2canoe
