We use a 2" memory foam topper (from Overstock.com) that lays on top of the TM matress. Widens the bed sides to the very edges and makes the POS TM bed setup much more comfortable. It's a heavy beast that we do have to remove (and store) to close the TM, but the extra work is worth it to us. Sleep is golden to us on a camping trip, since we usually have physical activity scheduled the next day.
