I had my Jayco seriously hailed and kept it for 10 years. The insurance paid it off! After you keep it you will not be able to insure it for its repaired value and may not be able to get insurance other than liability. With that said, your usit is so cheap for the interior and running gear age its a great deal.

Don't forget to make sure that any hail damage on seams must be repaired, maybe with sealing tape. Also, inspect each hail pit to make sure the metal roof is not punctured or cracked. Water leaking into the foam core will eventually break it down and/or cause the metal to delaminate from the foam.

My Jayco had two pits with cracks and I simply forced GE Silicone seal into the crack and sealed the area. (Clean it first so you get a good bond)

Like the previous I bet you could easily sell it for more than 4000,
