Default Slide on Living or Dining

We purchased a 1999 2720SL this spring and the track on the slide was in very rough shape. Actually when we purchased it took to adult men to open by lifting the slide and pulling with all we could mustard. Purhased new nylon bushings and washers at Lowe's and I was able to open and close it myself. Still not easy, but doable.
I purchased new tracks, bolts, bushings and washers from the TM factory and installed today. At first it was almost impossible for me to open, but used some graphite and it was easier and the more I slide it in and out the easier it got except the intial pull from the closed position. That is still tough.
Before I forget the old track was 1 1/4 inches high and the new one is 2 inches. Not sure if the answer to question 4 is because the track is higher.

Question 1 is does anyone who has a slide that is 1999 or older or maybe newer if it has or had the 1 1/4 inch track replaced with the newer size?

Question 2 are all the slides a little tough to get moving, but then move with not much energy? I know my wife could never get it started.

Question 3 Do all of the slides have play from side to side when your pulling or pushing them?

Question 4 Inside rollers. Is the slide suppose to be touching the roller wheels when the slide is in the closed position? Mine are not!

By the time I get done I think I could build a TM. Done plumbing, electrical, replaced wood apolstered the couch and now the slide. Going to reinstalling the awning this coming weekend. Don't think I want to learn anymore right now just want to use it. (smile)
