Wink Table Rock State Park (SC)

We've camped there several times. During the summer, there's always the lake for swimming. It used to be a beautiful park. A few years ago, it was hit with a very destructive ice storm, which opened the campsites up quite a bit. A lot of shade was lost. Also, the roads and sites are gravel,,,,,some sites are not too level. We suggest trying Keowee Toxaway State Park just about 20 miles west of Table Rock. It only has a few RV sites, but it is very quiet. This park usually gets the overflow from Devil's Fork State Park. Huge old oak trees. A great place for couples. Not much there to attract the kids however.
