Default Need a Regulator

My Norcold fridge is acting up and I believe my propane regulator is the problem or at least part of it. I have a Marshall 254-00 changeover regulator. Does anyone have an alternative to this regulator? I found the Marshall Excelsior MEGR-253 regulator, and it has very similar specs. The 253 is 1/2 the price of a 254, and I don't think Marshall Gas Controls makes a 254 anymore, although I have found them for sale. Input, anyone?

Last year I replaced the original 15-year-old regulator (unknown model number) with the MEGR-253. The MEGR-253 requires the MEGR-862 regulator cover (the old one did not fit). At the same time I replaced the Norcold 621953 orifice assembly. Replacing these two items fixed a fridge problem that developed during a 4-day camping trip.

Thanks for the input. That is the regulator I've been looking at. I've also just replaced the burner.
