Table position when towing
A quick question before I drive off on my very first trip with my 2922KB, do I need to take the table leaf out and hang the table down, or can it travel just as well in the upright position?
Thank you, love this forum!

You may have to remove the leaf in order for the table to fold down flat. Fold it down while traveling ensures the table does not get damaged due to the bumps while traveling at highway speed. The table leg rod is fragile and is only suspended upright by a push button lock and can easily drop down and bend that post. I've had things move around while traveling... even had the oven comes dislodged slightly due to a severe pot hole.

In the past 20,000 miles, we have left our table up with no damage. We leave nothing on it, but it is always in the up position. Maybe I should not do it, but nothing broke yet and we will continue it.

Joyce and myself have been having the same conversation. We both have views on the up or down.
It would be interesting to get other views? If we can leave the table up, it would be one less thing to do in setting up and taking down?

My experience is if you fold up the table no chance of it being damaged, but it is one more item to deal with.
If one leaves the table up, unless you are on a very poor road, chances are slight the table would be damaged but possible.
I usually put mine down because once you get the hang of it very easy to put up and down.

We leave it down for traveling. I put our hanging wall cabinets in that space cushioned by the dinette pillows and a couple of bath towels.
We've been leaving it down most of the time while camping in the TM as well. I don't trust my toddler to not climb on it and snap it apart. Not exactly a sturdy piece of equipment, even for leaning our elbows on as we eat. :/

Ours is quite sturdy. I've probably stacked 45-50lbs on it no problem. Are you sure you have the wall connection and table leg set correctly?
