Screws in Interior Window Frame
My trailer is failry new (picked up in Nov of 2003 - a 2004 model). I've had two screws pop out of the interior window frame. It appears that one popped out (stripping the threads, this is the one by the kitchen sink), the second screw appears to have broken off (window on the door side in the front).
Have others had this problem ? If so, does anyone have a recommended fix ? Should I worry about other problems (I'm thinking that the screws in the frame was not torqued correctly, and that I may have a larger problem - I believe that TM was having an overflow year in 2004, perhaps this impacted quality).
I've included pixs of the problem areas.
Thanks in advance, MikeD

I am going to check our TM. I thought the windows were riveted in. As a fix, you might pop rivet the frame where the threads are stripped.

If this happens around the house we usually insert a sliver of wood into the empty hole, and then re-insert the screw. Haven't ever tried this on the TM, however.

I'm heading out on a trip today, but I'll look to see if a pop rivet will work. My understanding is that the interior frame holds the window in place (saw a window repair on RV TV one day). That's why I'm concerned - I'd hate to have other screws fail under the increased stress and the window fall out.
One screw popped out, stripping the thread - a piece of wood might work here. The other screw broke off at the head - I may have to drill that one out first.
thanks - MikeD
