Default Door Hinge Pin

I had noticed a little difficulty in positioning the door during set up. I found that i had to slightly lift up on the door to make it fit in the door opening. I took a closer look the last time we were setting up, and I noticed that the "Hinge Pin" was coming out of the bottom of the hinge. BTW, "hinge pin" is probably a misnomer, "hinge wire" is probably a better description! Anyway, I took a small hammer and gently 'persuaded' the wire to travel back up the hinge, then slightly bent the topmost hinge section to help hold the wire in place. That solved the problem!

I've had to tap mine back in a couple of times. Strangely, it always seems to be coming out of the top of the hinge on our trailer.

Ours too, but instead I bent the bottom of the pin slightly and hammered it upwards. It's been fine for a couple of years now. It did leave a tiny hole in the linoleum, however.

Default hinge pin

I cut the pin off about a 1/4" and pushed it down into the hinge and crimped the ends of the hinge plates top and bottom.
