Default Countertops

Ginger wanted to update the counter tops in the TM, here are pictures of the before and after let us know what you think.
We had already done this in the house about 2 years ago and they have held up really well.

No I used a Granite look counter top paint kit and painted over the old tops.

That might not solve my problem. I keep chipping the side pieces of the Formica. I suppose I could fill the void with putty and paint that, but when you get a ding on a round corner then the remaining Formica develops a crease that sticks out. I ended up having Custom RV replace the side edge. The cost was reasonable.

I just used this on my kitchen counter tops. Built my counter tops out of mdf and then primed and painted them. It looks great and was easy to do. Got it at Wal-mart.
I like the cover for the stove.
Good job, looks very nice and expensive!!! I was thinking of doing this very thing to my TM counter tops!!

Really looks great! Do you have to seal it to prevent scratching?

Yes, it is a clear sealer and it comes in the kit. We have had this in the house for about 2 years and have had no problem with scratching.

That looks 100 times better than the manufacturer countertops.
