Help with installing a Sealand Toilet in a Mini - SUCCESS!
I have bought a sealand toilet to swap out the old toilet in My Trailmini 18L. Has any one ever done this. I found plenty of stuff on installing in a Reg Trailmanor but not anything on the Mini. The toilet is not beside the cabinet in my version but instead sits in front with in the shower base. Would post a picture but have not figured out how to do so yet. Have attached one so we shall see if that works.

Is this the kind that only works with a hookup?

Bruce- Is what the kind that will only work with a hookup? The toilet will flush from the on-board water supply. Are you asking if a TrailMini only has plumbing for a city water connection? That, I do not know.
Robert- I think someone here has done the swap in a wet bath, not sure who... With some more pictures, and maybe another pic with the Thetford, maybe I could offer some insight.

I have not done this, so my estimate is not guaranteed. But the consensus seems to be that if a Thetford fits, a Sealand can be made to fit in its place.
There is some info here. Don't know if any will be helpful.

It's a gentle hint that the Trailmanor won't be that good for boondocking if you don't have some sort of black tank. There is also the matter of water usage per flush.
This is a real concern when the Trailmanor goes up for sale because a lot of us are into boondocking, some of us don't ever park at hookups at all, and being able to get along for four days on 5 gallons of flushing water is important. Thus, I always nudge people who have modified the toilet to be really clear about that when their unit goes for sale, so that boondockers don't waste their time.

I get the Thetford being good about conserving water. But as for not having a black tank, the SeaLand does have a black tank whereas the Thetford IS the black tank!

Some Sealand models have a black tank. Not all.

Sorry, Bruce is right. The SeaLand Traveler 711 M28-C has a tank, and is the one 99.99% of people are referring to when they mention “Sealand” and “TrailManor” together.
