Covered my TM today with an ADCO cover. The one for a 26ft. travel trailer worked great. (I leave mine open) After washing the TM I closed it and put the cover on then opened it. Worked great. DW was not at home so I did it by myself. With help it would have been a snap to do. I had to pad a few places with pipe ins. where the corners were sharp.
Isn't it nice to have it all clean and tucked away under the new cover ! I washed mine and covered it up two weeks ago..not sure when we'll use it again, maybe not until next summer the way our schedule is shaping up .
A cheap cover is a 20 x 30 plastic tarp from the harware store (for a TM3023) and some rope.
I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF A COVER THAT GOES BELOW THE BOTTOM OF THE TOP SECTIONS OF THE TM. After a few years without a cover rain running down the sides will get into the bottom of the sides and rot the wood and rist all the scre,ws that hold the latch catches.
The 1996 TM3023 that I bought used last Dec. has this problem.

Go back to the TM Reference Library (aka TM Info You Won't Find Anywhere Else) and look for the article that covers this topic. I think you'll find the answer there, as well as a lot of discussion of the "why's" for each cover.

I just received the latest Camping World sales brochure yesterday and they have RV covers on sale. You might check their website if you're not on the mailing list. - camp2canoe
