Default Fresh water inlet access

As silly as it may seem, I think I might have a solution for being able to fill the fresh water tank, only when the roofs are raised. If, in all cases, when the roofs are lowered for travel, the filler connection an be seen through an adjacent window, why not flip the window so that the screen and the window swap positions. Then an opening could be made in the screen for access to the filler connection. A 4 inch or so opening should give one proper access to this connection through the screen. Some type door or cover made out of screen (or?) could bug proof this opening when not in use. Possibly a rubber enclosure wherein to halves separate when the connection is inserted and reclose when the connection is retracted.

Also, a more positive (no water leaks), quick connect for connecting the hose would be appropriate. It could be ne that attaches with few turns, or popped on such as with an air compressor hose. This connection could be longer (6-8") so that it projects out through the screen hole enough to attach it "remotely" by hand without having to reach through the screen.

Clever idea. If you do the modification, please post your experience. Now, if there was only a way to rinse out and refill the head without opening the unit! - Camp2canoe

Thumbs up Toilet Cleanout.

The Flush King probably would do what you want. Check Camping World.
