We have found the beauty of Utah’s national parks varied and breathtaking and have fallen in love with the area. I have wanted to see Antelope Canyon for several years now. I just discovered Vermilion Cliffs a few weeks ago and after seeing some pictures of the area I am even more excited about going there.
The hikes look to be as spectacular as any I have taken, and we have hiked most of the trails in the Utah national parks. The BLM limits the number of hikers to 20 per day. Will post pictures to my Flickr account once we are home and have Wi-Fi. A link to past adventures are in my signature.

A really nice area that we enjoy. Besides Antelope Canyon, last summer while we were in Flagstaff we heard about another near there with a lot less traffic.
Unfortunately bad memory; or is that a senior moment, can't remember the name.

That is it Bill.
When we left the Bryce Canyon area, we stopped at Calf Creek on the way to Capitol Reef. Nice water fall hike there.
We also stayed at Wind Whistle, BLM CG, about 30 miles from Moab. That gave good access to the Needles area.

We ended up staying in Johnson Canyon, Grand Staircase (30 min. from wave lottery). BLM boon-docking. Had a great sight. We drove the road to State Line campground to get to the wave hike, and you don't want to drive that road before the spring grading has happened with TM. Just got home and have only processed the pics for the wave. If you are interested they are posted in my albums on flickr that can be accessed from the link in my signature. We got our permit on the third try. Best hike we have ever been on and we have done a few. Should have Antelope Canyon up in the next few days.
