I had a hard time finding a review of this item. I did search amazon to find one to no avail. I'll try again, but I wouldn't mind a link to what you found.
Connecting to the outside source is one of those "duh" things that I didn't think of. Thanks for that tip.

It did. I looked hard and couldn't find it. Thank you. Pretty dismal reviews.

Yendor,
Do you happen to know what the model number was for the Maytag AC, or the BTU capacity? I want to replace the original that came with the trailer. It does not do a great job cooling, even the small 2619. I live in Georgia, and it gets pretty warm here too!

Seems to me that someone on this board replaced the original wall-mounted unit with a larger (cooling capacity wise) unit that fit in the same space. If I get a chance, I'll go looking for the thread and post it if I find it. Perhaps it was a 10,000 BTU to 13,000 BTU upgrade?
And of course, Rocky Mtn Ray pulled out his wall-mounted unit and retrofitted a roof mounted unit. His posts should detail the conversion.

Here's a link to a previous discussion about adding side A/C:

THE MODEL # OF THE REPLACEMENT IS
Fedders A6Q10F2A FOR AND M6Q10F2A FOR THE MAYTAG YOU'LL NEED TO PURCHASE A THROUGH WALL A/C NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR A WINDOW A/C AS THE
WINDOW A/C PRESENTS A FIRE HAZARD. THE WINDOW A/C DOESN'T EXHAUST THE HEAT OUT OF THE VERY BACK OF THE UNIT. THE THROUGH WALL DOES. BE CAREFUL
I ALMOST HAD A CAMPER FIRE LOOKING FOR A CHEAP. SUBSTITUTE. YENDOR

Thanks for info. I didn't know there was a difference between 'through the wall' and 'window' type air conditioners - now I do!
