Well, it's not the switch and it's not the fuse. I guess that leaves the pump?

You could pull the pump out and clean it. Probably 75% chance, it's just got dried TP in it....

I get that in our dishwasher pumps a lot (similar scenario). My tenants will complain that the dishwasher doesn't drain. I take the front panel off, give the pump impeller a little turn and it starts pumping just fine. It usually happens to tenants that seldom use the dishwasher and a small amount of food will dry and harden in there.

Bear -

There are two parts to the pump - the motor, and the impeller. Take a look at the second and third pix in the first post in this thread
http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...ead.php?t=5889

In the second pic, you can see that when you take the plastic hood off the toilet, the motor is standing up in the middle - that's the black cylinder with the red and white wires coming out of it. In the third pic, the motor has been lifted out of its housing and is just lying there on the seat. At this point, the motor should run smoothly if you push the switch. If it doesn't run at first push, pull the rubber boot off the upper half of the motor so you can measure voltage right where the red and white wires are attached to the motor terminals. If there is voltage at the motor terminals and yet it does not run, then the motor is bad.

If it runs when it is just lying there, but won't run when you put it back in its housing, then the impeller (which is down below in the tank) is bound up. This is what Harvey is describing. If this is the case, you might be able to insert a screwdriver into the lower half of that black housing, where the motor shaft normally goes, and give it a turn. If the bind is just dried TP or whatever, you might be able to break it loose. And if you can't break it loose, you're going to have to remove the toilet, disassemble it, and remove the impeller to see what is going on.

Check those voltages really carefully. Much less hassle than disassembling the toilet.

Hey all, thanks for all the help. We took it as far as we were comfortable with and then took it to the dealer in Colorado Springs. I'm proud to say that they were scratching their heads too and went as far as removing the toilet when one of them bumped the fan switch. I don't really get it but somewhere the wiring was tied into that. We all saw the voltage at the connections on the toilet and certainly didn't have the fan on then. . . anyway, it's fixed, cheaply. Again, thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting the final solution. Someday in the future some other new TM owner will appreciate it. That was a strange one that few of us would have suspected.
