When installing the jack, did you expose metal on the underside of the jack's mounting plate and on the topside of the a-frame (where the jack was to be mounted)? Mine also came with 3 washers (thin, toothed kind). Though I had exposed the metal on both surfaces, I still used the washers in between those surfaces. So far, soo good.

For us it was already installed. I'll look into the grounding next chance. Thanks
