Here looks like the problem is this adjustable? Looks like the bolt came loose and the shell moved tearing the aluminum.

Did you support the shell while doing this? Can the shell height be adjusted this way?

did not really support the shell, i just left screwdriver in while bolt was out.
do not think that really does anything to adj height of shell, it should help with being more stable and stop it from pulling out, or that is my hope.

I would agree. That is not an adjustment point but rather a pivot point. The sag the poster mentioned earlier regards this answer would not drop that far due to the pivot point being pulled through the aluminum skin. Unless there were water intrusion to the wood rails portion of the roof/ wall and the wall sagged due to lack of integrity.

Can anyone who replace the wood with aluminum tell me the method used to attach the stapled seals back to the aluminum?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but there are pics and explanations of how we replaced our bag seals on my blog - address in my signature. Basically a thin strip of wood glued and screwed to the aluminum. Hope this helps!

By the way, the $12 membership for this forum is well worth the wealth of knowledge and help from other members. I hope you consider becoming a member.
