Default New Trailmanor Location on Google Maps

The Old Elm Spring Hutteren Bretheren colony is here on Google Maps. The Trailmanor factory would be somewhere around here.

The parent colony, New Elm Spring, is across the river here. There are other colonies nearby, and also Mennonites and other Anabaptists.

The history from Martin Luther to the Hutteran Bretheren is fascinating, though as a non-Christian I can't profess to understand it well. There have been a series of schisms over issues of education, religious practice, etc. So, within the Hutterites there are several different groups, with the Hutteran Bretheren being one that embraces more of modern life. But their lives are very different from those of most Americans, since they live communally and strive to live up to the Sermon on the Mount in their everyday lives.

They would not individually own a motor vehicle, not to mention an RV, though the colony might own either. It is interesting that they chose this path to expand their industry.

If they manage the production of the TM like they manage their other industries, we can look forwards to a trailer that is made with great care.

If they do like most of these groups the Community finances it all on their own thru communal support so they won't have much in start up costs. The people that work there will be essentially part owners which will give the incentive to produce a good product. This is the way the Amish do it anyway.

Usually days can be as warm as 90° F but mostly in the 70's and the nights can be as cool as 35° F, those are the extremes.

November can be a little more challenging.
We started one trip in the TM day after Thanksgiving 0° to 20° was the range.

A very interesting read, Larry! Thanks for the link.

The satellite images present a very organized settlement, so I am hopeful they can build very good trailers. They will likely build a much more efficient factory than what was in Nebraska. The building was not conducive to building the trailers.

I wish them well, as I would love to see new TrailManors hitting the road!

My brother-in-law just moved to Mitchell, SD. Next time I go visit him, I'll drive/stop by the new TM facility in Parkston, SD and post an update.
