Default Hail damage

We decided to keep it for the time being. We will take it to the factory for a "tune up" and repair of the roof vent, hopefully in June or July, then possible put it up for sale and maybe buy a 3023 if we can find one close to us. Any one interested in buying it after the "tune-up" and repairs. PM us!

We were attending our 1st Jubilee at Rapid City SD in 2000 with out brand new 3124 KS. On the last evening of the Jubilee we were hit with a hail storm so severe it even cracked some windshields.
On our return to our home if FL 3 months later we had the damage assessed and since we had full insurance coverage, received a check for $8,000.
The damage was purely cosmetic and can't be seen when the trailer is open in any case.
I later changed the insurance policy from Camping World to liability only figuring that we had received all the benefits from the policy that were bound to get.

The roof on our '04 3023, minus the skylight damage looks pretty much the same. The roof skin is not broken and we have no leaks. The hail did damage one of the skylights and we plan to replace both [just because] - it had the traditional canoe camping patch on it now: Duct Tape. Doesn't look pretty, but we don't spend much time looking at the roof. Good luck with your decision making. Glad it didn't happen to you in a camp ground. Olga and Ken, Northwoods
