Default traveling with full black/grey tanks

Any tricks, precautions, etc about having to travel with a full or partially full grey and black water tanks? Some of the places we're considering boondocking at do have dump stations so we might be on the road for a while before we reach one. I seem to recall reading a thread about some bad experiences with this, but can't seem to find the thread now. We have a new 3124 with the Thetford Elctra Magic recirculating toilet (has the self contained black water holding tank).

Thanks

Saran Wrap stretched over the toilet rim......just in case the water splashes back. I never had that happen with a full toilet, but it was a precaution just in case.

No issues except the extra weight. The saran wrap tip seems to be good insurance for the Thetford, although splashes seem rare with it. The low spot in the gray water system is the bathtub, so if any sloshing occurred it would likely be there. I wouldn't store my good lace in the tub if the tank was full!

I'd ditto the Saran wrap tip. We routinely come back from our boondocking trips -over 175 miles and dump into our own septic tank on our 6 acres. The Thetford rarely 'splashes', but I'd just rather be safe than sorry.
