Any suggestion's for northern ohio?

Any suggestion's will be very help-full, we are going meet some dear freinds at el dora speedway next month, about 100 miles north of cinn. Will be at track on sun-wed, but will be looking for something for the rest of week. They are from st. Louis. Neither of us have been in that part of this grt country so we would kinda like to find something with-in 50 to 100 miles so we are not off the path for either one for the trip home, any nice little places you can share?

Never camped in that area of Ohio, but we do stay at Geneva and Shawnee Ohio State Parks on our way south in November and on the way back in March. They are good, both of them. If the other state parks are similar, you should be fine. Here's their locator map:
