When you remove the vents, make sure you use a sealant compatible with RV's. Do not use silicon caulking, it will leak. Something like 3M Urethane Seam Sealer, 08367, Black Color, High Solids, Permanently Flexible, 310 mL/10.5 fl oz Cartridge is appropriate.

Look for the word Urethane.
