Default Four Paws Kingdom Rutherfordton, NC

If you like dogs, you'll love this place www.4pawskingdom.com

Four Paws actually encourages you to bring your dog(s), as there are many things for you and your dogs to do including agility courses, fenced off-leash areas, swimming pond, walking trails, etc. The campground is hosted by an industrious couple that really wants you to have a good time. An innovative feature was the bathhouse (of all things). Five individual bathrooms (like you'd find in a home) were available to the campers. The bathrooms were always spotless. The recent, very warm weather made those showers a popular spot. There was also an indoor dog washing station, and dog grooming areas.

We met my brother and his wife at Four Paws. They are new Casita trailer owners, and were attending a Casita rally. We had the only TrailManor, and attracted several onlookers as we were setting up. A lot of campers had never seen a TrailManor though most had heard of them at some time. The TM proved to be quite a conversation starter

The campground had both pull-thru and back-in sites. Our site was a little on the smallish side, but that's because I had requested to be situated next to my brother's site - there were other larger sites available for the asking. The campground offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, 50 and 30 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. They also have cabins, and rental campers available.

This was a neat place that I'd like to visit again.

Leslie & Nick,
Thanks for posting the info about Four Paws Kingdom.
We bought our TrailManor in October last year and we were planning a trip to North Carolina for the spring. We happened to be scanning the TrailManor forum (for info and ideas for our new purchase) when we found your post.
We planned on staying in the Rutherfordton area and we have two dogs (a Malamute and a Golden) so this was perfect!
We took the TM out for a maiden voyage in April at a local campground to work out the bugs. Our next trip was to North Carolina in May.
Based on your recommendation, we stayed at Four Paws Kingdom for roughly a week.
We had a great time and the dogs loved it!
The campground was very nice (and new) and the owners were very nice and helpful.
Another nice feature was the dog walking service that they offer.
We took a couple day trips so we made arrangements to have our dogs walked while we were away. The owners did a great job! They even closed up our windows in the TM because it looked like a storm was coming!
Our golden, Hunter, even learned to swim at the doggie pond. He was just under two years old at the time and hadn't been swimming before. It didn't take long, and both dogs were loving the water.
You should have seen the look on the dogs faces when we packed up to leave. They looked so sad as we loaded them into the truck. They didn't want to leave.
Anyway, my wife has family in the Rutherfordton area, so when we go back to visit, we will definitely stay at Four Paws Kingdom again!

Thanks again!

This sounds like a great place for dog lovers. But for families, keep in mind that they don't allow kids older than 2 and younger than 14.
