Default Need help with gray & black water discharge

ok maybe I should have inspected this TM closer prior to purchase. Here's what I have, the PO had a tire blowout that destroyed the gray & black water discharge so it's cut short under the TM. I would like to put the discharge ports back to the side so I can reach them.

Can anyone give me some specs on how far the dischage ports are from the tire? A pic or two would really help.

I attached 4 pics of what it looks like now . . .

On our unit the distance from the outer tire edge to the center of the common drain is 9 inches. The thumbnail with the ruler appears off due to parallax.

Good lord, the previous owner spliced into the top of the black dump line? That is crazy, and then puts the dump handle on the back side, so you almost have to crawl under the rig to pull it? That set up makes no sense.
I thought I had decent pictures of both drain lines, but I don't. Just found the black line. I removed my electric toilet and use a porta-potty, but this is how mine used to look.

Thanks everyone - What a setup, guess I'll go shopping for parts soon and rebuild.

Actually, your current setup doesn't look all that outlandish to me, in that most of the plumbing has been moved farther from the danger zone behind the tire. The PO installed the toilet slide valve so the handle pulls further under the center of the trailer, which is strange, but I think you can unbolt that slide valve and turn it around so the handle pulls outward. Tapping the gray water discharge pipe directly into the top of the black water pipe is certainly unconventional, but I can see how it works. I am not seeing a discharge valve on the gray line. Am I just missing it? And I would at least think about adding an elbow and bayonet slinky hose connector directly to the existing end of the pipe, so it faces outward.

Edit: Just spotted the missing valve, right up against the wall of the gray tank. Again, inconvenient, but you can buy a cable valve puller kit that would enable you to pull straight out. Check the Valterra web site, under "cable actuated".

Let us know what you do.
