Default how warm should it be?

A/C heat strip does not cause air to come out all that warm. Friday night got down to around 44, and while we did not freeze to death, we were not terribly warm either. Seems to only take the edge off... Sometime Saturday night, the A/C breaker tripped (shutting the unit down). Any idea where I should start looking for that one?

It isn't supposed to heat the camper very much at all. It will get very hot to the touch but mine was blowing air that was below 80 degrees. At 44 degrees sounds like it was time to fire up the furnace!

agree, it really is a waste of energy to use the heat strip in the ac unit. Mine also blows "warm to cool air" nothing like the furnace so I dont even bother with it now. Use a small ceramic heater or the furnace.

And that is what I was getting (warmish cool air). Another question... The heater is not ducted, right? If no, do the dinette-area campers sweat while the others try to get warm? (My 3124kb usually sleeps 6 -Wife and I in the back bunk, some combo of 2 kids in the front bunk, one kid on the pull-out couch, one kid on the fixed couch.

My 2417 Sport had the air blowing onto the legs of anyone sitting in the dinette (or into the open space when converted to bed). Not efficient, but the opening under the dinette is large enough to allow air out into the rest of the trailer. I made sure the vents pointed out the open end, and we had no problem keeping comfortable in the rear bed (front bed area stayed warm, also).

Our newer 2417 Classic has the vent openings on the outer end of the dinette bench, which keeps the heat from baking our legs, and also allows for more even heating of the entire trailer.

You may want to look to see if you can move the vents from the leg area, to the end of the dinette bench. I don't know what it looks like under your bench, but if you have room, I think it would be worth the effort to move the vents.

I have included a picture of my under-bench area, with the bottom of the photo being where feet are when sitting at the dinette. Top of pic is outside wall of TM.
