Default Tires

We had a whopper of a blowout. Didn't hear it or see it until a passing trucker honked and pointed at us. It also damaged our wheel well.
What kind of tires do you use? What do you consider good replacement tires? Where do you buy them?
Thanks, Frank

If you have an older model you may want to consider the round wheel well modification from the library section.

Frank,
There is quite a bit of information on various tire options in the "Tire" section. One thread in particular that I recall has "Guinea Pig" in the title so you can search that up and get info on various manufacturers and styles of tires.

I think you'll find this thread to be particularly informative:

Note that it'll take you a few beers to read through all of it. It's as close to a summary of the collective knowledge of this board on tires as I have seen. After my Goodyear Marathon blow-out, I got a set of Kumhos after quite a bit of research, and have not looked back.
