Default Slowly Towing When Open

Hello all. I wanted to know if any of the TMs are towable when open? Definitely not highway speeds, but say up to 10 mph (speed is highly enforced)? I don't have one yet, but I can certain see myself in a situation where I may need to pull it setup some and wanted to know how frowned upon that would be. Thanks for any answers in advance.

Default Wrong site

It was my fault. Was one site over. I "towed" with it up. I am sure this is NOT recommended. There is not much room once it is popped up to TURN. It will hit most TVs. That said, the 50' tow went without a hitch (with a hitch). I am sure I did not even go 10 MPH.

If needful I'd probably tow mine below 3 mph and no bumps (entire weight of modules are on the arms.

I did about 6 years ago.

Lock the shells with the inside and outside retainers, bathroom walls down.

Paved parking lot, we had to move about 200 yards from where we had originally set up.

Wide sweeping turns to ensure that the TV would not touch the front shell.

I would not exceed 5 MPH, YMMV.

I would not do it. Not sure how much movement the 8 bolts that are on the end of the arms at the shell can take.

For me and my TV, I wouldn't do it. I have a cap top on the back of my TV, so it would be too easy to have my rig/TV get damaged by moving it. Yes, it's possible. But having said that it will only take one person to think they can do it, with they'll forget they have either a Cap Top on the truck, or say a support rack for kayaks and screw up either vehicle.
It's cheaper to be overly cautious than to have to pay for damages after you realize it was a bad idea.
