Default 2922KS electric living room slide

Moving on up from a 2010 2720sl to a 2015 2922ks with the electric living room slide. Will the camper battery run the slide, or do you need to be hooked up to shore power or tow vehicle to operate it? Thanks.

Assuming the camper battery is charged, it will run the slide. I don't know how much it depletes your battery, but if you intend to boondock, you will appreciate having some recharge capability.

I believe most if not all 2015's were made in Nebraska which suffered with inexperienced workers and poor quality control. Do a very thorough inspection before your purchase, hopefully this one was made in Tennessee.

It only takes about 15 seconds to open the slide, and it does not deplete the battery. We've not had any issues other than when we accidentally broke the switch first trip out, and we had to open/close manually, which is not too much fun! (The slide is heavy with the electric motor attached).

To Bill's point, we never had problems even before we added the suitcase solar panels, but our model did come with an 80W panel installed, so we have always had a way to recharge.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. Glad to hear that the camper battery will run the slide! By the way, this one was built in Tennessee in 2014. Thanks again.
