Upgrading 7300 power converter

I own a 2009 TM 2720, and presume to have a Magnetek 7300 series (45 amp?) power converter.

To keep my batteries charged during storage, should I upgrade the 7300 converter with a Inteli-Power 4600 series upgrade kit, which has a 3 (4?) stage battery charging system vs the current 2 stage?

I kept 110/120 V hooked up to my TM last winter, and hopefully did not damage my batteries from overcharging. So far after 3 trips, they seem ok.

Any thoughts?

Interesting. My 2009 2720 came with a WFCO 8955 converter. 55 amps. It is a three stage charger so continuous use of the converter should be no issue. Not sure why yours came with a different model.

M&M are right. If you have a 2009 TM, you almost certainly do NOT have a Magnetek unit. TM phased these out in about 2006. Why not just open the door over the converter, and read what you have?
