Default Adding 20 gal tank

Nice job! I wondered how you were going to add the extra capacity. I thought TM also had a larger tank that they used for 40 gal. Did you consider installing a "T" in the supply line and not adding the second fill tube? The advantage of your approach is that you can only fill one tank if that's all you need. I see you installed a valve between the tanks.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Ray

Yes this is why I added the second fill tube and the valve ,thought long and hard about the tee and valve and this is the better way!!!!!!!!! Like you said I can fill one tank or two or half fill both and spread the weight of the water ,the best of both world and now have 40 gal. capacity The rip

Well, sort of ... You can spread the weight fore-and-aft, but remember that no matter how you spread it, it is all going to come down on the left wheel/tire, unbalancing the rig and potentially overloading that tire. If you have any thoughts about travelling far or fast with a full 40 gallons of water aboard (almost 350 pounds), you might want to follow Ray's recommendation and get each wheel weighed independently. Nice installation nonetheless, and you'll enjoy having the extra water in the campground.
