Horizontal Tank
I have been on TMO and off also googling horizontal propane tanks. Of our two...one was leaking when they went to fill it and as luck would have it...it is the better looking of the too. It has minimal rust....while the "good" tank does not look so good. It has a deep rust mark on it and we are not sure that we trust that.
Thought about buying one new one or two new ones and found the ones for 139.00 as well as others up to 280.00 for one tank. So 278. and change plus 61.38 for shipping is about the price of buying two on amazon free shipping and a whole lot better then 280.00 for just one.
Meanwhile we are considering just buying two new 20 lb vertical propane tanks and setting them on the ground. I did see the Commodore's photos of his two vertical tanks on the ground in use.
Has anybody else tried this?
