Default Parksville Lake Cherokee NF, TN

Parksville USFS, Cherokee NF 16 very nice sites with electric, never found the 41 sites the web site lists unless you include the group sites. Two the sites are pull through. One person at a time could use the showers, not enough water pressure to support both the mens and womens showers at the same time: found out later this was due to a power failure during all the storms before we got here. Showers work fine now. Hiking/bicycling trails are well marked. There are fishing and boat ramps near by along with white water rafting.

This campground is between Ducktown and Cleavland TN. Take SR30 where it intersects US hwy 64 between Ducktown and Cleavland about a mile on the left just past the work center.

Here is a view of Lake Ocoee in the fog about 300 feet from the turn off to sr 30, maybe a half mile from the campground. We spent two weeks in site 10.
