Default Black Goop on bed slides.

Anyone had any luck removing the black goop on the tracks where the beds slide in and out? Looks like it is black grease. Or am I the only one with this problem?

Have you tried Awesome? I've used it on the wheels and it works very well at getting off the black grease.

When you say "bed slides" are you referring to the underneath of the head and foot of the bed (sides of the TM) where the bed meets the outside of the lower shell when pushed in, or to the plastic strips that hold in the bed supports (the parts that swing in and towards the center when you push the bed in)?

I am referring to the underneath of the head and foot of the bed(s) (sides of the TM) where the bed(s) meet(s) the outside of the lower and upper shell(s) when pushed in.
I cleaned it up several times and it keeps coming back.

It sounds like there may be something sticky or dirty underneath that's causing this (where you can't see it). We recently pulled out the bed for repairs and in our model (2720) there is about a 10" area at the end of the lower TM box that never sees the light of day unless you pull out the bed.

Pulling out the bed is not too difficult, we just unscrewed about 10 screws from the plastic strips that guide the bed supports and popped out the supports. If you do this, make a mental note of where the washers were (or take a picture) so you can put them back correctly. It's definitely a 2 person job.
