pedestal under the Air Conditioner?

There is a 2 inch or so tall pedestal under the air conditioner. (AFAIK, my air conditioning is original to my 2004 TM 3023.)

Should this pedestal be considered a part of the air conditioner and it gets replaced when I change the air conditioner?

Or should this pedestal be considered part of the TrailManor and stay on the trailer until death do they part?

Will any replacement air conditioner fit the opening or are there multiple sizes?

This influences how I'm going to be sealing up water leaks around the AC.

Neither, really. The pedestal is there because the roof is so thin. It makes the roof thick enough for the A/C. Roof vents have the same deal. If your riser is made out of wood, I’d replace it. I made mine out of PVC trim board. They do leak after a while.

No wood. Reinforcements around the square vents are wood textured, but appear to be PVC. Very similar to Trex brand PVC material used for decks, fascia boards, and other house trim.

Same material is in the pedestal. It's visible with the interior trim removed.

The 'pedestal' allows for a flat roof as the a/c vent is recessed into the roof and allows the front section to close on the rear.

Well, the plastic "wood" under the pedestal is cracked. It's probably related to the curvature of my roof.

I'm going to remove the Air Conditioner (Original equipment Coleman) and replace that wood. Anything I should consider doing while I'm in there?
