The awning on my 2000 3023 was attached to the trailer by about a dozen screws directly to the side of the trailer and a bunch of caulk. The screws are accessed when you open the awning, you can see them behind the opening bars. I needed to remove mine to get the trailer it in the garage. Now, I'm trying to create a way to put the awning on and off the trailer a little easier. Keeping it safe and secure.
I noticed fiamma sells these optional bracket kits.

Does anyone have any experience with the KIT AS 120 or 400? It looks like if I use one of these kits, I can just clip the awning on and off the trailer and have easier access to the screws that hold it together, on the bottom of the bracket.
I'm also wondering if the newer trailmanor's have these brackets.
If I use these brackets, it looks like I would have to go all the way though the wall of the trailer to put on a backing piece. Thoughts if this is a good idea?
