Memorial Day in Big Sur for anyone?

We made reservations 7 months ago for Big Sur, but we're having second thoughts about going. There is a fire here so I'm kind of worried about leaving, and the kids say they have too much homework and need to study for their finals. We have a lot of stuff to do around here, too.

Would anyone here like to go if we don't?

The reservations are for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. It's a 29' back in site.

That's too bad you may not be able to go and I'm sorry to hear about your fire. I'd jump on the camping trip if we didn't already have reservations for Doran Beach/Park camping in Bodega Bay this weekend. I do hope they get the fire under control soon, but with the winds we've been having (and I'm sure you too) it must be very scarey. Be safe!
