Talking Colorfull Camp Fires

A camper gave me Mystical Fire packets to put in my camp fire & the flames
change colors like blue green & some other colors is lasted a long time he said he got them from Amazon or E-Bay maybe a good idea for camp fires------Ken

I think it’s copper, right? You can get them at any RV store, WalMart, I think even Dicks has it in the camping section. As said above, don’t cook over that flame.

So of the ingredients here, table salt (sodium chloride), borax, and water softener salt (potassium chloride) are the nicest to you and the environment, and I don't know offhand what their combustion products would be. I would consider leaving metal salts in a fire pit a little irresponsible.

Also keep in mind that these take a long time to burn up. Put your fire out tonight build a new one tomorrow and very likely to,still,have residue from the night before.
