Default Holes near the bed frame

We just purchased an used 2330 and very satisfied with the overall appearance. Slowly going through all the features, heavy duty cleaning, fixing things, etc and discovered two holes on opposite corners of queen sized bed frame towards the back. If I lift the mattress a little I can actually see through the holes (maybe 2 inch or so diameter) from inside to outside. Is this normal for this model? What would be good product to use to fill the holes. I don't want bugs esp wasps getting inside. Thanks!

If you are referring to the weather flaps at the back corners of the bed, the best way to fill the holes is to do the cold weather adder. Purchase two swim noodles or two pieces of foam pipe insulation and cut them to length to fit under the bed slides at the side of the bed. This will seal the holes and insulate the bed/wall juncture. Search for cold weather threads for more info.

Default Thank you!

Use of two swim noodles or two pieces of foam pipe insulation is a great idea. We'll get to it.
