Default Trim Replacement

Has anyone replaced the driver side rear trim on a TrailManor? What type of adhesive and caulk should be used? I damaged the driver side trim when pulling the unit from storage. The part is available from TM but there is not an authorized service center in North Texas, so I will have to to attempt it myself.

Thank you

Rwussie,

Any chance you could post a picture of the damage?

Assuming you are talking about the vertical trim strip where the side wall meets the back wall, it will come to you pre-formed. The fit is pretty good. You can slobber a generous amount of adhesive caulk onto the back and side walls where the trim strip will go, then press the trim in place and bed it in the caulk. While the caulk cures, you should hold the trim piece tightly in place with several strips of duct tape, and it helps if you can do it on a hot sunny day since it makes the trim a bit more flexible.

More annoying than difficult. Been there, done that.

The damage is near the bottom of the trim and it is cracked in two places. I have ordered a replacement from TM and they provided the information on repair. Thank you.

Default Outside corner trim

I am replacing all 4 corner trim pieces because of yellowing. The factory uses Manus-Bond 75-AM industrial Adhesive. Cleaning the old sealant and glue takes about 1 hour per corner. The corner has 2" foil tape between the corner also.
