Default Door Seal

We just tried out our brand new 2002 2720.  We noticed a 1/2 inch gap along the vertical edge of the lower half of the door on the doorknob side.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Any ideas for fixing?

Be sure that the steel pin at the top of the half-door (on the side away from the knob) is properly seated in the clip.  It is easy to have the pin end up outside the clip, and the gap you see is the result.  In my experience, when the pin misses the clip, the first signal is that the door won't stay latched - it keeps popping open.

And if this happens repeatedly, it may be an indication that the trailer is not level.  We've found this to be the case on a few occasions, though by the time we see this, it is a little late to level the unit side to side, as it is always after we've unhitched the tow vehicle!
