It makes no sound at all? While the pump is not wildly noisy, you should be able to hear the motor running if you open the cabinet door and put your ear down to listen.
Have you turned on the switch on the kitchen sink apron?
First step is to confirm that 12VDC power is reaching the pump. Start by checking the fuse, which is located in a group of fuses in the converter. Just open the door on the converter (probably located at floor level in the hallway outside the bathroom). You will see a group of a dozen or so colored plastic blocks - these are the fuses. There should be a label telling you which fuse controls the water pump. Pull that fuse out, and see if there is an intact loop of metal visible within it, or if the loop is interrupted. If interrupted, the fuse is blown and must be replaced. Get one from any hardware store or most big box stores.
