My wife and I are looking for a good campground in Charleston S.C. I have found a county park called James Island. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and how were the facilities. I own a 2720.
We stayed there in the fall of 2001 with our 2720sl and found it to be a great park. The campground is clean and well tended. All in all a good experience camping there while visiting the Charleston area. Enjoy your trip. By the way, its a little hard to find but we followed the directions in our Trailer Life directory and had no problem. Benlyn
we haven't camped in charleston but further north there is a wonderful trailer camp ground right on the ocean. It is right next to those towering hotels you always see on the ocean front. This place is "Myrtle Beach Travel Park". Its really nice and has all the conveniences of any well known camp ground. check it out. we loved it. taryn
my wife and I just returned from Charleston. If anyone does travel to that area the James Island County Park campground is excellent. The place is clean and the staff very friendly.
