2002 Blue Fabric

I'm looking for either the name or a piece of the 2002 bunk fabric. We have a burn spot in our back bunk from the light and I would like to patch it. Thanks for any help.

Can't help with the material, but why/how is the light on? There is a safety switch to turn off all power to the rear shell, including the lights, when the TM is folded down. I'm not sure when the switch was added, but I know that my 2002 TM had it. It appears as a silver button on the upper edge of the rear bathroom wall, just above the tub. When the bathroom's big rear wall is raised, it pushes this silver button, which in turn supplies power to the rear shell. When the bathroom big wall is dropped down into travel position, the silver button is released and all power to the rear shell is cut off.

Do you have this switch?

TM added the switch for exacly the situation you describe. Even if you turn off the light before folding, the slight wiggling of the shells as you drive can turn it back on again.

that switch has been around awhile, I know the 93 had it, am not sure about the first one ,

mm that is odd,
after I talked to dw, she reminded me of the time I was upset because the back shell lights did not work, until I lifted the bath wall, this was on the 93. so the 88 must not have had ,

I will have to look for the switch. we had all the lights off when we left the campgrounds. it was our first pull with our new to us 3023 (I have a really great set of parents). When we got home, parked and leveled, we lifted the tops to find the light behind the wardrobe was on a melted light cover and there was a hole a melted in our mattress. when i talked to my dad he said he always pulls that bulb when he traveled.

Is this the Switch y'all are talking about (pic 1) if so im guessing mine doesn't work by the results of pic 2&3.

Yup, that's it. And it is important that it works, as you can see. Try working it up and down with your finger to see if you can loosen it. Put a tiny bit of silicone or Teflon lube down around the shaft, and work it some more. It is unlikely that this will work, but it is worth a try. Fortunately it is not hard to replace, and you really ought to do so.
