Default Fairgrounds rv parks

Because bluegrass festivals are often at fairgrounds, we've found that they often have fine RV facilities with full hookups at very reasonable prices. In urban areas they can be a real bargain.

I just found this directory for the west coast. http://www.rvfair.org

One might want to make sure they are not holding a hog slopping contest or banjo / accordion duets. Other than that they can be good places to stay.

I'm afraid to ask, just exactly what is a "hog slopping contest?". But I'm asking anyway. I'm pretty sure I've never been to one. Is it kind of like when you have a bunch of starving teenage boys and you put out the food, and then step back as quickly as you can?

That's sorta it. 400 pound teenage boys who never bathe. "food" might be an overstatement.
