Wow! That is a LOT of difference! It looks to me like the new campers are being built with MUCH more road clearance than the older ones. My measurements would seem to apply only to the older trailers, such as my 2006. It would also seem to answer the question "Will my MPG change if I add a lift kit?" Apparently not, since TM added several inches (not just 2 or 3) with no noticeable effect.

Maybe a better question, or at least an associated one, is whether the overall height of the closed-down trailer, including air conditioner, jack antenna, etc., has changed This goes to the question of whether it will fit in the garage. I'm not sure how the ground clearance could increase by 5 inches (!) without increasing the overall height of the camper. My 2006 already has a low profile air conditioner, so that is not the answer.

No offense intended, but are you guys sure you are measuring to the bottom of the frame member (which is 5" high), and not the top? My picture showed measurement from ground to the bottom of frame, which is also the top of the lift kit. I added a note to the pic to show this.

Well, sometimes you learn interesting things by putting out unexpected data.
