The extra weight on the rear bumper of the TM will REDUCE the tongue weight, so the proper move (within reason) is to REDUCE the lift provided by the WDH. In other words, drop a link - put an extra link between the lift hook and the tip of the springbar.

In the end, though, the right answer is exactly the one provided by dbnoll - measure the front and rear ground clearance of the tow vehicle, before and after the tongue weight is dropped on the hitch and the springbars are lifted. They should drop by the same amount.
